2024 Environmental Justice Boot Camp

The EaRTH Center is co-sponsoring an environmental justice boot camp hosted by Columbia University and is giving away complimentary registration and up to $1500 travel for up to two postdocs or Early-Stage Investigators at UCSF. The Boot Camp takes place August 15-16, 2024 in-person at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston, MA. More information about the boot camp here.

Additional requirements for this training:

  1. Basic familiarity with R is recommended to get the most out of the Boot Camp. If you have not used this platform before or need a refresher, step through the tutorials outlined below so you have the basic skills needed for Boot Camp success.
  2. Each participant is required to have a personal laptop/computer and a free, basic Posit Cloud (formerly RStudio Cloud) account. All lab sessions will be done using Posit Cloud (formerly RStudio Cloud).

After the boot camp, the travel award recipient will be asked to provide a brief recap of their experience via email and possibly via Zoom to the EaRTH Center leadership team.
